The Story Behind Eve-25
In early 2025, our founder Koketso Morapedi a Product Designer; was planning his wedding. What should have been exciting quickly became a masterclass in frustration. Botswana had no central platform for discovering and booking event service providers. Just scattered Facebook groups, unanswered DMs, and word of mouth that went nowhere.
When he finally found providers, there was no way to compare them. Pricing was hidden behind "inbox for price," availability was unclear, and there were no reviews to rely on. It was chaos and Koketso knew exactly how it could be fixed.
So he built it. Eve-25 short for "Events 2025"; is the platform he wished had existed. Designed from the ground up with real users in mind, every detail; from search to booking confirmation reflects a Product Designer's instinct for making complex things feel simple.
Today, Eve-25 is Botswana's first dedicated event services marketplace, connecting clients with verified providers, making pricing transparent, and turning what used to take weeks into minutes.
